Town of Davie Lobbyists
To comply with the Broward County Code of Ethics Ordinance No. 2015-55, prior to engaging in lobbying activities, all lobbyists must register with the Town Clerk's Office.
Lobbyist Online Contact Log
Please note that lobbyists and principals must be registered prior to any contact taking place.
Communications with elected officials where no lobbying has occurred do not have to be reported.
On December 2015, the Broward County Commission amended its ethics ordinance with regards to lobbying activity in County and municipal governments in Broward County.
In accordance with Broward County Ethics Ordinance, a lobbyist is responsible for reporting all contact with elected officials regardless of the location and form of contact for lobbying activity.
Under the new rules, the contact form must be completed within three (3) business days after the lobbying activity occurs. The requirement to file a contact form is not limited to in-person reporting or face-to-face meetings, but also includes telephone calls, emails or any other mode of communications used to lobby the Town’s elected officials.
Click on the hyperlink to report/record a new lobbying activity for each contact with a Town of Davie elected official. Each entry will generate an email to the Town Clerk's Office. Please print a copy for your records.
