Need to get home for an emergency? The Emergency Ride Home (ERH) program provides a free taxi service for registered commuters who attend a South Florida Education Center school.
Using the ERH Program
ERH may be used 24/7 in the event of an emergency. ERH is available to registered users who use an alternative mode of transportation to commute to and from campus at least two days a week. Each student is allowed up to six free emergency rides a year.
Eligible situations include:
- Illness of the commuter or a member of his/her family
- Unscheduled or extended school hours
- A carpool driver’s inability to make a scheduled trip home due to illness or an unexpected school schedule.
