Town of Davie Mail Ballot Election
April 23, 2013
The Town of Davie recently completed a review of its Charter which is required to be performed at least every seven years. A group of dedicated Davie residents were appointed to an advisory board and were tasked with making recommendations to any provisions of the Charter.
The first 12 ballot initiatives are a culmination of their recommendations. The 13th and final ballot initiative is a non-binding question to gauge community support for funding a school resource officer program to help protect public school children within the Town’s boundaries.
Davie voters will soon be receiving a ballot in the mail with these questions, which have been approved by the Davie Town Council. We urge you to become informed on these issues and exercise your right to vote.
