Joy Deco Dance, Ballet, Hip-Hop, & Gymnastics |
Do you want to feel like a star? Perform and learn the art of dance and movement at the Davie Pine Island Park Multipurpose Center. Dance trains confident, articulate and intelligent people by building the ability to learn, think and act in an athletically artistic environment. Professional instructors provide a welcome atmosphere for beginners as well as professional dancers ages 3 to 10, Saturday classes - Ballet 10:00 - 10:45 am ages 3-5 and Hip Hop/Gymnastics 11:00 - 11:45 am $40/month or $10 per class. 5 Star Baton, Dance & Pom-Pom |
The classes are designed to move at the speed and skill of each student. The 5 Star Baton Twirling, Dance and Pom-Pom program meets every Wednesday from 5:30 - 9:30 p.m. in the gymnasium. The cost of the program is $30 per month, plus a one time $12 registration fee. Dance, Socialize, Compete! Contact Karen at 954-444-9190 to register.

Chinese Language Classes

Three instructors teach various levels of Chinese language and culture every Sunday at the Davie Pine Island Park Multipurpose Center. The class is held in two terms, fall and winter, and the cost for each 15 week term is $75 (materials and books are additional). Call June at 954 290-2647 for more information.

Karate at Davie Pine Island Park Multipurpose Center, Ivanhoe Community Center

Learn a combination of several fighting basics to accomplish a well rounded self defense, balance, self esteem and exercise program. Joe Kelljchian’s karate classes are at the Davie Pine Island Park Multipurpose Center on Mondays and Wednesdays from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. the cost of the program is $30 per month for a resident youth, $40 per month for a resident adult, $40 per month for a non-resident youth and $50 per month for a non-resident adult.
Classes at the Ivanhoe Community Center, 6101 SW 148 Avenue on Mondays and Thursdays 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. for children 5-11 years of age, and 7:30 – 9:30 p.m. for adults and children over 12.

Parents & Me Club |
Ages 3-5 years old. This class will meets Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays during the school year from 9:00 am - 12:00 pm. No cost to Davie residents. For additional information call Sharon at 954-327-3941. Class meets at Eastside Community Hall located at 4300 SW 55 Avenue.
