The Town of Davie has completed its annual progress report that evaluates its implementation of the Broward County Local Mitigation Strategy. Attached is the report that was submitted by Town Administrator Gary Shimun to the Davie Town Council.
The report reviews 13 action items that were proposed for completion in FY2007. It notes that 12 items are ongoing. The Town has completed two flood outreach projects that encompassed the entire community. The first project is included in the spring issue of the Town’s magazine, the Davie Update. The second project is a flood brochure mailed to all Davie residents.
