The Town Clerk’s Office verifies lien information on water and sewer agreements, lot clearing, special assessments, Code violations, unsafe structures, and unpaid utility balances.
To request a complete lien search, there is a $50.00 charge per folio number. Searches will take 5-7 business days. If you wish to expedite this process, you can request a Rush Search for $100 per folio number. Rush Searches are processed within twenty-four hours (24) of receipt. Any Rush Searches submitted after end of business day (8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) will begin to be processed the following business day. The request must include the property owner’s name on record, complete address, folio number, and legal description. Additionally, it is advised that you check the Broward County Public Records Division for any additional recorded liens not associated with the Town of Davie.
