DAVIE KICKS OFF FESTIVAL WITH AN ORANGE COOK-OFF CONTEST
To celebrate the 73rd Annual Orange Blossom Festival, Parade and Rodeo, the Davie Woman’s Club and the Woman’s Club of West Broward are sponsoring an Orange Cook-Off. Do you have a great recipe? Here is your chance to submit a favorite recipe and take home an award.
Submit your recipe, application and the entry fee of $5.00 by February 16, 2010 to GFWC Woman’s Club of West Broward, PO Box 209012, Davie, Florida 33329.
The Orange Cook-Off will take place on February 20, 2010 at the Davie Woman’s Club located at 6551 Orange Drive, Davie, Florida. Bring your entry, which must be made with the fruit of the Florida Orange, to the Davie Woman’s Club no later than noon. The judging will take place at 1:00pm and the winning recipes will be awarded first, second and third place rosettes in each category. The winners will be included in the Davie Woman’s Club Orange Cook-off Cookbook.
The 73rd Annual Orange Blossom Festival, Parade and Rodeo will be held February 27 and 28, 2010. Festivities include the Orange Blossom Parade, Strawberry Festival, Arts & Craft Show, Professional Rodeo, Live Entertainment and more!
