TOWN OF DAVIE SEEKS ORANGE BLOSSOM PARADE PARTICIPANTS
The Town of Davie will host the 73rd Annual Orange Blossom Parade, Saturday, February 27, 2010. The parade will kick off at 10:00am and will proceed south on Davie Road, between SW 39th Street and Orange Drive.
All non-profit youth and adult groups, commercial and non-commercial businesses, musical marching and non-musical marching groups, and all school groups are invited to participate. Parade entries are FREE. Awards will be presented after the parade in the different mentioned categories.
In the spirit of Davie's unique historic past, the theme for this year's parade will be "The American West." Downtown Davie's western motif is as important to Davie as the Orange Blossom Festival itself, so to combine the two for our biggest parade is only natural.
