2009 CAMP PROGRAMS
Davie Summer Camp Program operated by Sunshine Child Programs
Town of Davie Parks and Recreation Department Summer Camp Programs now operated by Sunshine Child Programs will begin registration on April 13- May 3, 2009. Camp runs June 8th to August 14, 2009 with an extended 1 week program at Pine Island August 17 to 21st and is available to Davie residents only. Ages 6-12 years (5 year olds accepted with proof of kindergarten participation). The brochure and registration forms will be distributed to Davie schools on April 13th. If you do not receive an application, you may pick one up at Davie Pine Island Multipurpose center at Sunshine’s parent sign out desk between 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm Monday thru Friday, after April 13th. A public lottery drawing to determine placement in the program will be held on Tuesday,
May 5, at 10:00 a.m. at the Davie Pine Island Multipurpose Center, 3801 S. Pine Island Road. You do not need to be present for the drawing. Full payment is due by May 15, 2009, sorry, no refunds.
ADVENTURE CAMPS
Davie Pine Island Adventure Camp (100 campers)
Shenandoah Park Adventure Camp (75 campers)
Adventure Camp hours are 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. with early drop-off available at 7:30 a.m. and late pick up until 6 p.m., at no additional cost. Adventure Camp cost is $1,050 per child for a ten (10) week program.
SUMMER DAZE PROGRAM
Eastside Community Hall (25 Campers)
Berman Park (35 Campers)
CDBG will provide scholarship for 25 additional spots at Eastside and another 15 additional spots at Berman Park. For information contact: Glenda at 954 797-1196
Waterford Park (50 Campers)
The Park at Waverly (50 Campers)
Summer Daze Program hours at 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., with early drop-off available at 8:30 a.m. and late pickup until 5 p.m., at no additional cost. Summer Daze Program cost is $210 per child for a ten (10) week summer camp program.
