Davie Pine Island Park is a 113 acre active park, aquatic and fitness center located at 3800 S.W. 92 Avenue which opened in 1991. The park is the home of the Robert H. Bamford Sports Complex which opened in 1992. It is a Town regional park and is open to all residents. Access to this park is by car, horse, bike, or walking. Sidewalks are available from both Orange Drive and Pine Island Road. The pool facility is a favorite of Olympic athletes and colleges for winter training.

w The Aquatics Complex offers many state-of-the-art amenities to its members; 8 lane, 50 meter X 25 yard competition pool with heating/cooling system, or 18 short course lanes with starting blocks, exterior lighting which is ideal for evening swims, and a handicapped “O” depth entry ramp

w Vinyl Liner Surface
w 2 Stationary Goals and 2 Floating Water Polo Goals
w UV Protected Shade structures with lounge chairs lining the perimeter of the pool

Lifeguards at Pine Island Pool
Every lifeguard has been certified by the American Red Cross in CPR, First Aid, Oxygen Administration and Lifeguarding. Each lifeguard maintains their skill in monthly in-service training and receive unannounced audits to make sure their skills are at their best. Lifeguards are continually watching the pool to keep your swimming experiences enjoyable and safe. The pool and its staff received perfect marks for its safety training program and is a favorite with summer camps throughout the County.

PLEASE NOTE: At times, space available to the public is limited due to scheduled swim team. Swim Team trains Monday through Friday 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. At this time there are 3 lap lanes in addition to an area for recreational swimming.
BETTY BOOTH ROBERTS PARK AND POOL
The Betty Booth Roberts Pool is closed starting October 1st and re-opens March 1st
The pool is located 4200 S.W. 61 Avenue. The heated pool is 33 yards by 13 and stays a comfortable 86 degrees year round. The pool is staffed by certified American Red Cross Lifeguards and Lifeguard Instructors. The park includes 1 full size basketball court and one quad basketball area, a combinataion softball/baseball/football/soccer field area), 2 picnic shelters, and a recreational path. Please note: During all school closures, the pool is open 10:00 a.m. to 7:45 p.m. This includes holidays, and teacher planning days.
