Registration
Registration for the Town of Davie 5 on 5 Soccer program will begin January 28, 2008 and run through February 24th Those children ages 5 - 14 are eligible to participate in this program. The program runs on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons.
Divisions
The age divisions for our in-house program are as follows:
PeeWee Ages 5 - 6
Junior Ages 7 - 8
Bantam Ages 9 -11
Senior Ages 12 - 14
Player Ratings
Player Ratings for the in-house teams are scheduled for March 9, 2008. Every child that registers for the in-house program will be placed on a team.
Ages 5 - 6 12:30 p.m. Parent Meeting
Ages 7 - 8 1:00 p.m. Parent Meeting
Ages 9- 11 1:30 p.m. Player Ratings
Ages 12 - 14 2:45 p.m. Player Ratings
Playing Time
In the in-house program we stress equal playing time for all participants when at all possible. There are no guarantees on playing time with the traveling squads. The player’s selection on to the team is a reward for being one of the best players in his age division. We ask our coaches to choose only enough players on these teams so that everyone can be given playing time in each game.
Player Equipment
Each child receives a reversible jersey and a participantion trophy at the conclusion of the season.
Issued Equipment
Each coach will be issued a minimum of 4 soccer balls for his/her team. These are to be returned at the conclusion of the season.

Practices and Games
Practices and games will be held on Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons. This will continue to be a less structured program than our youth soccer program, but we will have staff present at all practices and games. All games will be self officiated by the players and coaches on the respective fields.

Mail-In Registration
The Town currently has a policy which allows previous program participants to register for any sports program through a mail-in registration. Each participant from the previous year is sent a blank registration in the mail. Should you wish to register your child in a program, just complete the registration form and return it to us with a copy of your child’s birth certificate and a proof of residency (current utility bill). Upon receiving your registration the Town will send you a confirmation notice for the draft or tryout dates. Please make sure to fill out the registration completely and put down which complex your son or daughter will participate at.
Registration Requirements
When registering your child for a Town of Davie program, the following are required:
1. A copy of your child’s birth certificate.
2. Current proof of residency/current utility bill (phone, electric, or water bill).
3. A completed registration form.
4. The appropriate registration fee.
Refunds
Any person wishing a refund from a Sports Division program will need to return the uniform that his/her child has received and/or any equipment. There will also be a $10.00 administrative fee deducted from the refund.
