PINE ISLAND COMMUNITY CENTER
1) DRESS CODE
All participants will wear proper gym or work-out clothing.
A) Shorts, sweatsuits and SHIRTS are required. No street clothes, long pants, jeans or free flowing clothing.
B) Tennis or Gym Shoes are required. No street shoes, sandals, boots, or black soled tennis shoes allowed.
C) Please bring a towel to wipe off seats and benches after use.
D) Lockers are available for your personal property.
2) EQUIPMENT
A) Only equipment provided by the Town may be used. No one is to bring weights or apparatus from outside for safety reasons.
B) Warm up properly with stretching exercises BEFORE strenuous activities, and cool down after the work out.
C) Always use equipment within your ability.
D)Carefully watch equipment in motion.
E) No food, beverages or tobacco products allowed in the Center.
F) During peak hours, a thirty minute limit on all cardiovascular equipment will be enforced.
G) No children under 13 are allowed, children 13-15 with a family membership are allowed with adult supervision only. (Unless special program)
H) Bring your membership card to the Lobby Recreation Attendant who will check you in and retain your membership card until you depart.
I) Please notify the Lobby Recreation Attendant of any equipment that may be damaged, unsafe, have blinking lights, or does not look properly maintained.
J) See the Lobby Recreation Attendant if you would like to review the video’s on the Fitness Equipment.

Everyone is encouraged to have a happy, safe time in our facilities. The Davie Parks and Recreation Department reserves the right to dismiss or expel any person(s) from our programs or facilities for behavior that is detrimental to the programs and facilities or to other clients. This includes, but is not limited to, conduct that constitutes safety hazards, physical abuse, mental abuse, and failure to comply with Town rules and regulations.
