CPR/AED Classes at Davie Fire Rescue
Adult, Child, and Infant CPR/AED (cardiopulmonary resuscitation/automated external defibrillation) training is offered the first Wednesday of each month.
The classes will be held at the Davie Fire Rescue Administration building, 6901 Orange Drive, Davie FL 33314, from 6 to 10 p.m. The course fee is $30 for Town of Davie residents and $35 for nonresidents. To register for class, call 954-797-1213.

How to recognize and care for breathing and cardiac emergencies
Infant/Child and Adult CPR
How to use an AED on an adult
It’s a fact – knowing CPR can save lives! The number of cardiac emergencies and injuries Americans suffer each year alone underscores the importance of CPR training for everyone. Davie Fire Rescue’s training program has been updated to reflect the standards as outlined by the Emergency Cardiac Care Committee.
Thousands of people every day suffer injury as the result of an accident or sudden illness such as heart attacks and strokes. It can happen anywhere, on the street, in the home, at work, or at a restaurant. If you ever find yourself in one of these situations, you need to know who to call, and what to do until help arrives.
Classes are taught by skilled instructors who teach the correct procedures and students are given the opportunity to practice new skills on a realistic mannequin.
Payment must be received by Davie Fire Rescue before the day of class.
Instructors will not accept payment. Cash is not accepted. Please make payment by personnel check, money order, or cashiers check made out to the Town of Davie. This class is not for healthcare provider certification.
