The Town of Davie and Baptist Medical Plaza at Davie have partnered to present the Mayor’s Fitness and Health Challenge to all Davie residents, businesses, and employees. Mayor Judy Paul started this initiative to encourage Davie residents, business and employees to choose healthier lifestyles in 2013.
For the 2013 calendar year, a combination of complimentary Zumba classes, education classes, and health screenings will be offered to all Town of Davie employees, residents and businesses who wish to join this challenge. Monthly weigh-in-meetings will be held to monitor the participant’s progress. All classes and meetings will be held at the Davie Pine Island Multipurpose Center on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.~ To register for any of the upcoming events, please email CommunityExercise@Baptisthealth.net or call 786-596-7044.
