Wista Watson-Loftus is the Office Supervisor (Manager) for the Housing and Community Development Department, and oversees the financial management and fiscal accountability for the programs administered by the Department. In addition, she interacts with the general public, Davie personnel, and representatives of many other governmental and private agencies and organizations. She is the first person to greet clients coming to the Housing and Community Development Office, and generally the first person a client speaks with when calling the office for assistance. She is very knowledgeable about the Town’s housing programs, and other the agencies that provide assistance within Broward County.
Wista has a varied background in the secretarial/staff support areas; and, she has been in her field for almost 30 years. Prior to joining the Town’s staff she plied her skills at private law firms and at Carnival Cruise Lines.
