 Every year we have a special outreach to Broward residents during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays when the Foundation gives out food baskets and Christmas gifts to our participating families. We served over 500 families during the 2009 holiday
season, with all the food and toys that were given away being donated from the community at large. Throughout the year, almost 50% of assistance rendered is from in-kind donations received from the residents and business people of the Davie/Cooper City area.
