	Town of Davie’s 32nd Annual Spring Festival, Egg Hunt & International Multi-Ethnic Festival Date: Saturday, April 7, 2012 Time: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Location: Robbins Lodge, 4005 Hiatus Road Egg Hunt and most activities FREE Refreshments & Food available at a cost Parking - $2.00 per car The Town of Davie will again host their International Multi-Ethnic Festival in conjunction with the Annual Spring Egg Hunt. The Festival will feature many diversified and multi-ethnic displays, cultural entertainment and hands-on activities for the entire family. The Town of Davie wishes to invite local school multicultural clubs, diversity groups, and not-for-profit organizations to participate in this festival by setting up a cultural or diversity display. All groups are welcome to celebrate! Did you know that more than 13.3 million immigrants arrived in the United States during the 1990s, and that by the year 2005, over 40% of the population will be recent immigrants and people of color? Did you know that by the year 2006, women will account for 59% of the total working force? And, that 65 different languages are represented in Broward County Schools? Diversity is a given. Government agencies, businesses, and educational institutions can no longer afford to ignore the diversity of their work force, consumer base, and clientele. (while supplies last) Booth spaces: Are FREE; however, you must complete, sign, and return the application. Once the Town of Davie receives your application, a confirmation letter, including a list of rules and directions will be mailed to you.
