The Town of Davie Parks & Recreation Department & the Florida Marlins team up each year for the Town of Davie Night with the Florida Marlins. All youths who were registered in a Davie sport program during 2007, and those registered up to date in 2008, are offered a complementary ticket to a Florida Marlins game. This year, the Davie group will attend on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at 7:10 p.m., when the Marlins take on the Washington Nationals. There will be a parade before the game for all coaches and sports program participants. Please be at Gate B by 6 p.m.

Town of Davie Night with the Florida Marlins registration forms were mailed out to those who qualify. Advanced ticket requests, monies, and forms must be returned to the Parks and Recreation Administration Department, located at 6911 Orange Drive, by March 21, 2008. Advanced tickets are $15 each for parents or children not registered in a Town of Davie youth sports program. Game day ticket price is $26.
Davie residents will enjoy the parade, a Marlins car magnet, a Marlins baseball cap, concert, and fireworks.
