In case you have not heard…one of our own Davie parks is in a contest to win cash for park improvements, along with a chance for you and your friends to meet NBA All-Star Dwayne Wade. Take a moment each and every day from now until April 10 to vote for Davie’s Driftwood Estates Park in the Staples Dream Park Challenge with D-Wade. Driftwood Estates Park is located at 3300 N.W. 77 Ave. near the Rick and Rita Case Boys and Girls Club. Improvements to the park would provide wonderful additions for our kids to enjoy.
Here’s what to do: Go to Staples Dream Park Challenge at www.StaplesDreamPark.com and register to VOTE! You can cast your vote for Driftwood Estates Park every day. To make your 1 vote turn into 10 votes, stop by a Staples store and pick up a Power Card.
Dream Park Prizes
The Grand Prize is $25,000 for the park with the most votes. Second place wins $10,000, and third place prize wins $5,000. Driftwood Estates Park is in 4th place right now. There are 18 parks in the contest. So, we are getting there but we need your help to do better.
