The Town of Davie will sponsor its annual Family Bike Rally and Bike Safety Day on Saturday, April 5, 2008, at Shenandoah Park, located at 14452 Shenandoah Parkway in Davie. This year’s ride will take riders on a new bike path.
A bike safety inspection will be held prior to the ride and a Bike Safety Rodeo will be held from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and from noon to 1 p.m.
Check in begins at 7:30 a.m. with the rally beginning at 9 a.m. Water, fruit, and maps will be supplied at registration. Preregistration is $2 per rider and walk-up registration is $3 per rider. The event will take place rain or shine. There must be thirty preregistered riders or the event will be canceled.
